The National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) is a national association representing the retirement and employee benefit plan administration profession. It was founded with the idea of bringing together professional benefit administrators and other interested parties to encourage greater dialogue, cooperation, and educational opportunities. NIPA’s goal is to improve the quality and efficiency of plan administration.

About Cheryl L. Morgan, ERPA, CPC, QKA, AIFA
Cheryl has many years of experience in TPA firm management, retirement plan consulting and administration. She established her own practice, Morgan Consulting Services, in May 1989, to provide technical and management consulting to pension professionals. In that role, she became known in the pension industry as: the consultant to the consultants. Her experience includes consulting on more than 10,000 retirement plans and associations with more than 70 different TPAs/consulting firms.
Cheryl's latest venture is Pension Podcasts, which delivers educational publications to help support practitioners in the retirement plan industry. Pension Podcasts Publications has approval from the ERPA review board to sponsor ERPA CPE programs that offer ERPAs and other pension professionals an online option to earn up to 30 CPE credits per year.
Throughout her career, Cheryl has devoted a significant amount of time to education and training. In May 2009, the National Institute of Pension Administrators recognized her with their Excellence in Education award. The American Society of Pension Professions and Actuaries (ASPPA) honored her as Educator of the Year in 2000. Cheryl also served as Director of Technical Education for ASPPA during 1997 and 1998.
